Good Luck Tom Cable!

The Raiders Post

You’ll need it, dealing with a quack like Davis, I doubt your tenure as Head coach lasts past the end of this season.   The Raiders are (hopefully the Kiffin firing didn’t set them back too far) on the verge of being a winning team. The defense starts off strong but with out an offense to sustain drives long enough the defense is staying on the field too long and by the end of the game they defense is gassed.

Hopefully Fargas coming back will help the Raiders sustain some longer drives. McFadden doesn’t show the lateral explosiveness that Fargas does or the finishing power.  Michael Bush looks good in limited use but all 3 backs are banged up.

The lone bright spot in the passing game thus far as been Johnny Lee Higgins.  Ashley Lelie is doing okay, Javon Walker looks like a bust and I am not even sure if Ronald Curry plays in the NFL any longer after his performance so far this season.  It is not usually as this case further proves to have your TE as the number one receiver on your team.

Tom Cable has his work cut out for him, I wish him the best of luck. I also wish Kiffin the best of luck. I have talked with a number of Raider’s fans and the feelings are almost unanimous that until all Davis is not longer running the Raiders, the Raiders fans will have some painful seasons ahead.
