McFadden was the Wrong Pick
Looking back at the draft almost a month later I still come to the same conclusion. Darren McFadden was not the best pick at the number 4 spot. I believe the way to build a championship team is start in the trenches and work out from there. Oakland could have and should have made a move to secure Chris Long in the first round. He would be bring the kind of determination and character that Oakland teams of late has been missing and will be a cornerstone on the defensive line for years to come. McFadden on the other hand is being built up as a better Adrian Peterson, I call shenanigans on that! McFadden is not an every down back and has few if any lateral moves, he may have faster straight line speed but he has few of the moves that Peterson has.
The rest of the draft (what few picks they had) consist of speedy players 2 WRs and a CB. One lone line pick a DE. The Raiders need to focus on the offensive and defensive lines in order to go anywhere in the division, or league
